Pull Tabs
Little things make a big difference.
Collecting pull tabs (pop tabs) is an easy and fun way to give back, raise awareness about Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton and support the families we serve.
Why Pull Tabs?
Pull tabs are easy to collect and store and are less messy than collecting the entire can. Not to mention, there is more concentrated aluminum in pull tabs than in the can itself! Our commercial recycling partner weighs the tabs then provides us with a check to help support families.
Getting Started
Designate a clean, wide-mouth container for your collection. Please refrain from using plastic soda bottles, milk jugs or other narrow-necked containers because they can be difficult to empty. Coffee cans, pickle jars, or ziploc bags work great. Add our container label or get creative and make your own.
Once you’ve filled up your container, bring your pull tabs to RMHC Dayton. We accept donations daily between 9AM-6PM.
Deliveries can be made in the receiving area on the west end of the House facing Air Street.
Support RMHC Dayton by purchasing a yellow pull tab bucket to collect your tabs.Â
Use the form below to purchase your bucket. Once purchased, bring your receipt to the RMHC Dayton front desk to pick up your bucket anytime between 9AM-6PM.Â
Collected tabs can be delivered to our House at 555 Valley Street, Dayton. Drop them in the Pull Tab House in the receiving area on the west end of the House facing Air Street.Â
